Showplace Lexington Oyster Gray with Espresso Maple

The home, newly constructed in the 1990's, was a Victorian reproduction, but the home's kitchen was mundane and boring. It lacked the charm you find in 1890's Victorian homes. So, the homeowner's contacted their interior designer, Julie Graf...even though she lived a state away! Julie specializes in kitchens and even teaches design classes at a local college in Pennsylvania. The homeowner found then needed to find someone that she and Julie could work with locally to help see Julie's design come to life. They found Kelly Zamonski from The Kitchen Place on Houzz. They had one meeting and selected together selected everything for the kitchen... doorstyle, wood, finishes and countertop color....etc. The homeowner, interior designer and cabinet supplier kept in contact via text and email throughout the months until completion. The cabinets are from Showplace Wood Products in Harrisburg, South Dakota. They are a mid-priced, semicustom/custom cabinet manufacturer. The cabinets are Lexington Beaded Inset with an Oyster Gray paint. The sink base and lower desk area are in Espresso Maple (which actually show lighter in the photos than they actually are).
